Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions practitioners ask before they book a call with us.

Nobody warns you it's this practical Growing a practice raises the same eight questions every time, whatever the treatment room smells of. We've answered them plainly, the way a friend would over tea gone cold.

Do I need a huge budget to start growing?

You need a clear idea of who you help. State it out loud, without flinching, and the rest falls into a sensible order.

Budgets matter less than clarity does. We've seen practices spend a fortune saying nothing much, and others spend very little saying exactly the right thing to exactly the right client.

You bring the who and the why. We'll sort the how, the where, and the sensible spending of whatever you've got put by.

Clarity is cheaper than confusion, and works considerably faster.

Will you make me sound like everyone else in wellness?

Not a chance. Wellness copy has a terrible habit of sounding like it came from the same tired committee, in every county, every time.

We dig out what's properly yours and put it in plain words. The tone you use with a client at half nine on a Tuesday, not the tone you think a website demands.

You'll read the finished page back and think, oh, that's just me, but tidier. That reaction is the whole point.

How long before I see new clients coming in?

Depends on you, and on your patience, which we understand varies by the week.

Generally, it's weeks, not years. Most practices see the first real movement inside six to eight weeks of the new copy going live.

We keep things moving throughout, with proper updates, so you're not sat refreshing your inbox like it owes you money.

You'll always know what's happening and what's next. That's the whole arrangement.

One practice told us the update emails were the calmest part of her week, which says more about her week than our emails.

What if I hate anything pushy or salesy?

Good. So do we, and so does anyone who has sat through a sales call disguised as a friendly chat.

Our approach stays honest and calm, the whole way through. No countdown timers, no fake scarcity, no exclamation marks doing the heavy lifting.

You'll never sound like you're shouting from a market stall. You'll sound like a practice worth booking, which tends to work better.

Calm sells. It just takes longer to notice.

Do you understand the wellness world, or just marketing?

Both, properly, and we always have. This field is what we live and breathe, not a sector we drifted into between accountancy and gym franchises.

You won't need to explain what a sliding scale is. Or why your client intake form asks about nervous systems, or why some clients book fortnightly and others just the once, in a crisis, at midnight.

We've worked with therapists, coaches, clinics, and retreats long enough to know the rhythm of your diary without being told. You talk, we nod along, correctly.

Can you work with a small practice, not a big brand?

Absolutely. Small is often where the best growth starts, in a spare room with a candle and a very good reputation nobody's written down yet.

We treat your one-room studio with the same care as anything larger. The strategy scales down properly, and scales up just as well.

You don't need three locations and a logo on a van to deserve a clear plan. You need clients who suit you, and a way of finding more of them.

What does working together really feel like?

Friendly, practical, and occasionally funny, in the way good working relationships tend to be when nobody's pretending.

You bring the practice, we bring the plan, and nobody panics. Even when the plan needs changing halfway through, which it sometimes does.

Meetings stay short and useful, generally under forty-five minutes, with an agenda you can read before your first client of the day.

Nobody has left one of our calls more confused than they arrived.

So where do I begin?

With a chat. Nothing more complicated than that, and no forms beforehand asking you to summarise your business philosophy.

Book a discovery call and bring whatever's on your mind, half-formed or otherwise. We'll sort the shape of it together.

You'll leave the call knowing what your practice could become, and roughly how long it takes to get there.

Some practices bring a notebook full of questions. Some bring a half-formed idea scrawled on the back of an appointment card. Either works.

Clear answers are useful, but a proper conversation gets you further. book your discovery call
